A group of TWA Realty friends and clients gathered to volunteer on a Saturday morning in October. We ladled soup, cut beets, and packaged meals to be sent out across the commonwealth.
Community Servings is a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses. They give their clients, their dependent families, and caregivers appealing, nutritious meals, and send the message to those in greatest need that someone cares. Nearly all of their menus are made from scratch.
Additionally, they have a job training program. The Teaching Kitchen’s 12-week curriculum covers all facets of working in a professional kitchen, including food safety and sanitation, knife skills, cooking techniques, and nutrition.
